The 2017 Maker Faire Singapore was a lively and inspiring gathering of creators and inventors. Imagin8ors had the opportunity to co-create a special track for young children, a place where together with their families they “tinkered” and explored activities together.
Participants experienced four activities at the Imagin8ors booth: Toys Transformed, Catapults, Marble Maze and Spinning Tops.

Young learners thoroughly enjoyed tinkering, designing and making their own catapults and spinning tops. Through hands-on activities they learned science concepts creatively.
One of the most popular events at the booth was the catapult launch of pompoms toward the Imagin8ors display board. Often they redid their design by trial and error. Once successful, the children pinned their messages alongside the splash of color left behind by the pompoms. What a joyful sight!
From dreams to funny squiggles, children made sure their messages were right next to their target.
The 2017 Maker Faire turned out to be a great opportunity for children and parents to bond and have fun learning together. Check out this video for a glimpse of the flurry of activity at the Imagin8ors booth, a place where making is cause for celebration.
We hope to see you once again next time!
